PlaNet Finance China Attends National-Level Signing Ceremony in Lanzhou

Gabrielle Harris' attendance at national-level signing ceremony for the Tongwei 2 project entitled "From Rural Isolation to Market Integration" in Lanzhou, July 6th.

On July 6, 2010, Gabrielle Harris, Executive Director of PlaNet Finance China, and Justin Zhang, PF Microfinance Consultant and Tongwei II Director of Microfinance Activity, attended a national-level trade and investment meeting for Gansu Province. The meeting occurred in the Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu. PlaNet Finance’s Tongwei II project, located in Tongwei County, was one of the 74 projects announced for Dingxi City. The counties of Dingxi City, including Tongwei County, have an accumulated population of 2.94 million people.

It was a great honor for Gabrielle Harris and Justin Zhang to attend this ceremony and on behalf of PlaNet Finance, Gabrielle Harris signed a framework agreement with County Director Ling XuPeng.

Other projects announced in Tongwei County included a renovation project to turn existing hotsprings into therapeutic centres. Tongwei County’s projects were financed by investors from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Taiwan.
